Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours)

  • Arrival in Paro International Airport: After completing visa formalities, you’ll be greeted by your guide.
  • Drive to Thimphu: A scenic drive along the Paro-Thimphu Highway with river views.
    • On the way: Stop at Tachog Lhakhang Bridge, an iron chain bridge.
  • Check-in at your hotel in Thimphu.
  • Visit Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of the Third King, it’s a major Buddhist landmark.
