Day 1: Arrival in Paro
- Arrival in Paro: Complete immigration formalities and meet your guide.
- Paro Sightseeing: Visit Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum to gain insight into Bhutanese culture and history.
- Prepare for Trek: Final preparation and briefing for the upcoming trek.

Day 2: Paro – Hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest)
- Hike to Taktsang Monastery: Acclimatize with a trek to the famous Tiger’s Nest, a monastery perched on a cliffside.
- Hiking time: 4-5 hours round trip.
- Leisure in Paro: Rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 3: Trek Day 1 – Paro to Sharna Zampa (15 km, 5-6 hours)
- Drive to Gunitsawa Village: The trek begins at Gunitsawa (2,850 meters) after passing army check posts.
- Trek to Sharna Zampa: Walk through a serene forest following the Paro River, gradually ascending through peaceful terrain.

Day 4: Trek Day 2 – Sharna Zampa to Thangthangkha (22 km, 7-8 hours)
- Scenic River Trek: Follow the Paro River upstream, passing through forests of rhododendron and pine, with glimpses of snow-capped peaks.
- End at Thangthangkha: Reach the camp at Thangthangkha with the first clear views of Mount Jomolhari.

Day 5: Trek Day 3 – Thangthangkha to Jangothang (19 km, 5-6 hours)
- Climb to Jangothang: Continue through alpine meadows and yak pastures, with spectacular views of Jomolhari as you approach the base camp.
- Jangothang Base Camp: Reach Jangothang, one of the most beautiful campsites in Bhutan, with dramatic views of Mount Jomolhari.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day at Jangothang
- Rest and Explore: Spend the day acclimatizing, exploring nearby ridges, and enjoying the pristine alpine surroundings.
- Optional Day Hike: Take a hike to the nearby lakes or viewpoints for close-up views of Jomolhari and its neighboring peaks.

Day 7: Trek Day 4 – Jangothang to Lingshi (18 km, 6-7 hours)
- Trek over Nyile La Pass: Cross the Nyile La Pass (4,870 meters) for sweeping views of Jomolhari, Tserim Kang, and other Himalayan peaks.
- Descend to Lingshi: The trail descends to the picturesque Lingshi village, with its imposing Dzong in the distance.
Overnight in camp at Lingshi (4,010 m)
Day 8: Trek Day 5 – Lingshi to Shodu (22 km, 8-9 hours)
- Cross Yeli La Pass: Trek over the Yeli La Pass (4,930 meters), offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
- Descend to Shodu: Descend through pastures and forests to the camp at Shodu, located by a clear stream.
Overnight in camp at Shodu (4,100 m)
Day 9: Trek Day 6 – Shodu to Barshong (16 km, 5-6 hours)
- River Gorge Hike: Follow the Thimphu River through a beautiful gorge filled with rhododendron forests and waterfalls.
- Camp at Barshong: Arrive at Barshong, where you will camp near the ruined Barshong Dzong.
